Mohebullah Wali was born in Logar province, Afghanistan in 1981. He completed his elementary school in Kabul and Secondary School partially in Logar and Kabul. He enrolled the Kabul Mechanical High School in 1995 and studied the field of Radio Television Technique. In 1998, he enrolled the Vocational Institute of Radio Television and subsequently in 2000 enrolled the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University. He completed his B.Sc. program in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2003 at the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University. He then joined the Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) as MSC and NOC engineer. He joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University as academic member in 2007. He received his M.Sc. degree in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT) in 2012. Subsequently, he completed his Ph.D. program in the field of Electronic and Information Engineering in 2014 at the same university. He has published five journal papers, four intentional conference proceedings and six Japanese domestic conference papers. After 2014, he worked as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University. He is former member of Academic Council of Kabul University. Currently, he is active member of commission for Graduate Programs at the Ministry of Higher Education.

Sayed Hashmat Sadat is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Kabul University. He received his Ph.D degree in Civil Engineering and Industrial Management Engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology in 2015, in March 2012 he got a master degree, from the same university and in the same field. He got his B.Sc degree in civil engineering from Kabul University in 2008.
His research focus is on water resources development in Afghanistan. Particularly, river rehabilitation, hydrologic assessments, hydro-environmental studies, development of water resources in the country based on IWRM approach. He has published over 10 peer-reviewed papers in reputed international journals and conferences.
He had worked as a specialist in water resources management for the Ministry of Urban Development and Land of Afghanistan for one year (2017).
He is currently the Deputy Director of WATER-Center, Afghanistan; A Center of Excellence in Kabul University and he also serves/served the following bodies as a member:
- Secretary of Supreme Council of Land, Water and Environment (SCoLWE) under Ministry of Energy and Water (2016 - present).

Abdul Malik Nazari received B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kabul University (KU), Kabul, Afghanistan in 1997 and MoE degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), Tokyo, Japan in 2008.
He joined Kabul University in 1997 where he is currently associate professor and Head of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department. He was Board member of Afghanistan Telecom Regulatory Authority (ATRA) from October 2011 to September 2016.
Prof. Nazari, beside his engagement in the Kabul University, he has worked in different managerial positions with government and private companies in telecom sector. His current research interests include blind array signal processing for digital communication systems. Mr. Nazari is a member of IEEE.

Assistant Professor Himayatullah Majidi was born in Kunjak Village in Central District of Logar province in a middle-class family. Completing the bachelor degree as a first scorer in
Electric and Electronic Engineering of Kabul University which is followed by his employment as an academic cadre in Electrical and Electronics department of the same institution on Mar. 2001.Assist. Assistant Professor Hameedullah Zaheb was born in Kulangar Village in Central District of Logar province in a middle class family. His preliminary schooling was done at Kulangar Jihadi High School of Logar province and Shahe Do Shamshira High school of Kabul province and he has completed his high school from Mahmood Hotaki High School of Kabul province with grading of 98.7%. Completing the bachelor degree as a first scorer in Electric and Electronic Engineering of Kabul University which is followed by his employment as an academic cadre in renewable energy department of the same institution on 25/April/2014 is yet another achievement in his academic career.

Assistant Professor Fahim Momand is born in Qarabagh District of Kabul province on 1971. Mr. Mohammad Hamed Patmal is currently a lecturer in Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Kabul University.
Mr. Mohammad Hamed Patmal was born in Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan on Jan-1991. He received his bachelor degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Kabul University, Kabul, Afghanistan in 2012. Mr. Patmal received his Master’s degree in telecommunication engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in March 2019. His master’s thesis has focused on ultraviolet optical wireless communication system using wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) scheme.
Mr. Mohammad Hamed Patmal has worked with several national and international organizations as an expert of telecommunication engineering. He has worked with ZTE Corporation as a team leader of network planning /optimization and BSS from jun-2014 to Sep-2016. He has worked as a cellular network design engineer with Afghan wireless communication company (AWCC) from sep-2013 to jun-2014. He has worked as a telecommunication trainer with Jahaan Technology Corporation (JTC) from Sep-2012 to Aug-2013.
Mr. Mohammad Hamed Patmal has attended and presented his research works with various domestic and international conferences. He has published his academic paper, in a proceeding of IEICE conference on “Compositive Information Communication Technologies and Applications for Future Network Systems”, Waseda University Nishiwaseda Campus (Tokyo), March 19 22, 2019. He has presented his research work on “Short range high data rate WDM ultraviolet band-A LED based communication link”, in a proceeding of WUHU workshop 2018, on Network (Tokyo), November 30 to December 1, 2018. Beside that He has published more than 10 academic articles with local magazines of Afghanistan.

Milad Ahmad Abdullah was born in Kabul City. He completed his elementary, secondary and high school in Kabul in 2004. Subsequently, he enrolled the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University in 2005 and completed his B.Sc. program in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2008. He joined the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering – Kabul University in 2009 as academic member. He worked part time with Delta Max Construction Company from 2009 to 2012 as electrical design engineer, designed several projects included medium and low voltage system. From 2012 to 2018, he also worked part time as a project manager in Platinum Engineering Company. He was involved in several national seminars and conferences for the energy sector in Afghanistan. He is an active member of the academic society for curriculum revision and evaluation of universities across the country. He is an active member of several internal committees at the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University as well as external committees in the university level.

Assistant Professor Sefatullah Halim was born in Wardak, Afghanistan in 1984. He earned his bachelor degree in civil engineering from Kabul University, 2007. In 2008, he was awarded MEXT scholarship to do his master degree at Nagoya Institute of Technology in Nagoya, Japan. He did his Ph.D at the same university in 2014 and returned back to Afghanistan and joined engineering faculty of Kabul University.
During his Ph.D program, he could publish several conference and journal papers. Two of his works were awarded as outstanding paper of the year by the journal of Advanced Concrete Technology in 2014.
Beside his academic career in Kabul University, Assist. Prof. Halim, has worked as Research Board Member at the directorate of Urban Research and Development Center, URDC, ministry of Urban Development and Land. Meanwhile, he presented a paper in 3rd National Urban Conference titled: Seismic Vulnerability Assessment Methodology for Afghanistan. In 2016, he was appointed as head of the review committee of the 4th National Urban Conference which was held in Kabul. Moreover, he was guest lecturer at master degree program, Kabul Poly-technique University, 2016.

My name is Najibullah Zaki, I am a citizen of Afghanistan and I was borned in 1988 in Kabul – Afghanistan. I have extensive knowledge and work experience in the field of economics, public policy and governance. I am a Master of Economic Governance and Development and have got MA degree from OSCE Academy in Bishkek Kyrgyzstan, in 2016. I have completed my bachelor studies in Economics at the Kabul University, Faculty of Economics, in 2010.
I have joined Faculty of Public Policy and Administration (PPA) of Kabul University, in 2012, and have been serving as an Assistant Professor and Head of Public Policy Department. I have also worked with different other national and international, private and public organizations and institutions, such as; the Control and Audit Office, the Nutrition and Education International, Ministry of Finance, and the Central Bank of Afghanistan.
During my tenure with the Faculty of Public Policy and Administration, I have taught different courses such as, Economics, Statistics, Good Governance, Project Management and Natural Resources Management.
I have received special training in research methodology, and have been involved in different research projects. I wrote my final project (thesis) of master degree on “The Causes of Administrative Corruption in Customs Administration of Kabul and Means of Reduction.” I also worked with National Center for Policy Research (NCPR), as a research assistant in “Free Market Economy and Its Impacts on Economy of Afghanistan.” In addition, I wrote several articles in corruption and governance issues.
My experience, especially my teaching experience and research work, and educational background made me a skillful researcher in the field of economy, public policy, and governance.

Asst. prof. Nisar Ahmad RAHMANY was born on 1990 in Paghman district of Kabul province in a middle class family. He did his primary and secondary school studies at Ghulam Mohammad Ghubar High School in Kabul city and afterward completed his high school studies with honor grading at Habibia high school. He did his BSc studies in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Kabul University at Afghanistan and completed his master degree studies in Clean Energy Engineering at Paris Sciences & Lettres (PSL) University at France.
Nisar Ahmad RAHMANY since 2017 has been working as an academic cadre within Energy Engineering department of Kabul University and during this period he has been active member of various committees, commissions and Councils at Kabul University. He also worked for two years (2015-2017) as a senior power system engineer in national electric utility of Afghanistan (DABS). Between 2012-2015 he was working as electrical engineer at Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC).
Additionally, Mr. RAHMANY has attended multiple national and international conferences and short-term training in his field of interest in United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Spain, Netherland, Belgium and Turkey.

Mohammad Abed Anwarzai received his Ph.D degree in electronic and information engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in 2018, a master's degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in March 2015, and the B.Sc degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Kabul University in 2004. Since July 2018, he is working as an Assistant Professor at Kabul University, Faculty of Engineering, in the Energy Engineering Department.
His interest research is on renewable energies development for Afghanistan. Particularly, the solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal energy potential, integration to the grid and smart grid development in the country.
He had worked as a telecom engineer in AWCC and Roshan of Afghanistan from 2005 to 2008. He had been employed as a power distribution design engineer in the Afghan Electric Power Company (AEPC) from 2009 to 2010. He also worked in the position of senior electrical engineer in UNOPS (United Nations Office for Project Services) of Afghanistan from 2010 to 2012. Then he had became as a researcher and graduate School student at the TUAT to receive his PhD from October 2012 until March 2018 .

Masihullah Ahmadi was born in Pakistan in 1994, while his family immigrated to Pakistan, where he lived for 10 years and completed his elementary education at BiBi Zeinab Public School. After returning to Kabul, he continued his education, attended several capacity building, English/Computer courses, and graduated from Habibia High School in 2009. Mr. Ahmadi acquired his bachelor's degree from the Kabul University, Mechanical Engineering department, Faculty of Engineering in December 2013. While being one of the top students, he was selected as an assistant professor in the aforementioned faculty of Kabul University after several evaluation processes. From 2014 to 2017, he shared his knowledge of specialized mechanical engineering courses with college students. Mr. Ahmadi was awarded a scholarship in 2017 by the Ministry of Higher Education and successfully completed his Master’s Degree in Advanced Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at the Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. After returning from Japan in 2019, he re-joined the Engineering Faculty of Kabul University, and has been working as an active member of Mechanical Engineering Department since then. Furthermore, Masihullah Ahmadi has the privilege of writing international articles in the Iron and Steel Institute of Japan (ISIJ, Japan) and Journal of Industrial Ecology (JIE, Netherland).

Assistant Professor Abdul Malik Baqeri was born in Tamaki Village in Qarabagh district of Ghazni province in a middle class family. His preliminary schooling was done in Taqcheen High School of his homeland also completed his high school from this high school of Ghazni province with grading of 97.5%.Completing the bachelor degree as a first position in Mechanical Engineering of Kabul University which followed by his employment as an academic cadre in mechanical engineering department of the same institution on 31/July/2018 is yet another achievement in his academic career.
Assist. Prof. Baqeri, especially in recent years of his career, has been member of various cultural organization such as Tamaki association of scholarships, Database Committee of the Faculty of Engineering in Kabul University, Examination and scheduling Committee in Faculty of Engineering of Kabul University, Cultural committee of Kabul University, representative of Faculty of Engineering in Data-Analysis Workshop of ministry of higher education.

I Hekmatullah Habibi, have been borned in a rural area 80 km away from Kabul city. I finished my high school education in my village high school. After attending the national entrance exam for the universities I succeeded to my favorite Faculty Kabul university Engineering faculty. Based on my continues struggles I finished my BS in Civil Engineering with good marks. During my studies in university I was always working with my colleagues in groups and helping them in revision of the previous lessons and doing the projects. Also during my study at the university I attended some engineering internship programs, which were more helpful for enhancing my skills in office management, Communication and other job related soft skills. These programs helped me more in finding job opportunity in a short period after graduation. I worked in different national and international organizations in different positions. My first job was as design engineer, and then I worked as QC Engineer, QA field engineer, M&E field engineer, Civil Engineering Lecturer in a private university (Salam University). Based on my interest I was looking for further higher education, and finally I succeeded to do my MS in Civil Engineering (Transportation Engineering) in 2016 at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Currently working as an assistant professor in Kabul University Engineering faculty.

Salman Muradi was born in Mughul Aahandara Village in Taluqan District of Takhar province in a middle class family. His preliminary schooling was done in Aahandara High School of Takhar province. He received his undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University. He started his job as an academic member at the Department of Mechanical Engineering - Faculty of Engineering, Kabul University in 2018. He has been active member of various internal and external committees, commissions and Councils in the Faculty of Engineering and Kabul University. Few and latest of them include: Representative of Engineering Faculty at Academic Conferences Committee of Kabul University, member of Cultural Committee, Quality Assurance Committee, Library Committee of the Faculty of Engineering etc.
Furthermore, he has worked as Mechanical Engineer for the Ministry of Information and Culture from Jan. 2016 to Dec., 2017. In addition, attending numerous national and international conferences is hallmark of his dedication and efforts for improvement.
He will soon start his graduate studies (Master of Engineering) in Water Resources and Environmental Management in the University of Technology Malaysia (UTM).
